Orvis is going to start it's free fly casting classes in May. I know a lot of people think Orvis is hoity-toity, but I assure you the young guys in the Reno fly department that I have dealt with have been really cool and unpretentious. This class is great for people who are just learning and need a run down of the basics. I took the class a few years ago and found it a great push in the right direction. Teach a man to fish....
