Not only does it run half the other anglers off the water, but it brings the fish in to ambush prey. Couldn't find a leeward beach so a windward one had to do.
Its a hurricane over at the Pinnacles, when this happens, get off the water and fish from shore.
They seemed to be taking nymphs and streamers interchangeably.
Ever seen this off to your east on the way from the reservation to Gerlach? Had to check it out, wonder what it was, miners, Indians? Who knows.
Can't be super old, they had mortar, saws and plate steel (riveted, not welded).
